In this self paced, five week online beginner's course, you will learn the skills and techniques needed to handcraft a hardcover book from start to completion and gain the confidence to apply these techniques to your own unique book designs.

GUARD BOOK MINI COURSE [$47]

 A Guard Book is a special type of binding, perfect for photo albums and art collections. Its unique design lets you attach items to the pages without making the book look overly thick or 'bulked out'. Join us to learn how to create your own Guard Book, perfect for showcasing your memories and artwork! 

In this mini course for intermediate bookbinders, we'll guide you through the steps to craft the inner pages, or 'book block', of a Guard Book.
